2. What are cookies?

3. Which technologies do we use?

3.1 Technically necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the website to function and for your choice in the cookie banner to be saved (e.g. the cookies “cmplz_banner-status” and “cmplz_consent_status” as well as the category cookies “cmplz_functional”, “cmplz_statistics”, “cmplz_preferences” and “cmplz_marketing” of the consent management, storage period up to 12 months). A cookie for storing the selected language may also be set. The legal basis is Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Consent is not required for this.

3.2 Reach measurement with Burst Statistics (only with your consent)

We use “Burst Statistics” to measure reach. The analysis takes place on our own server. The measurement script is only loaded once you consent in the “Statistics” category; without your consent, no measurement with Burst Statistics takes place. 3.3 Statistics with Google Analytics (only with your consent)

If you consent to the “Statistics” category in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). This sets cookies (e.g. “_ga” and “_ga_YSF8CVH8TD”, storage period up to 2 years), which are used to evaluate use of the website in pseudonymised form. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. The legal basis is your consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

3.4 Embedded content (Vimeo)

Videos from the provider Vimeo are embedded on individual pages. These videos are blocked at first: a placeholder is shown and no data is transmitted to Vimeo. Vimeo is only loaded once you release the respective video with a click; the provider may then set cookies and similar technologies. The legal basis is your consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

3.5 Embedded content (Google reviews via Trustindex)

On individual pages, Google reviews may be embedded via the Trustindex service. This area is blocked at first: a placeholder is displayed and no data is transmitted to Trustindex or Google. Only when you click “Load reviews” are a script and graphics loaded from Trustindex and the reviewers’ profile pictures from Google servers; in the process, your IP address in particular is transmitted. 4. Consent and withdrawal

When you first visit the website, we show you a banner with an explanation of cookies. You can accept all optional services, decline them or make your choice individually. Your consent is voluntary. You can withdraw or change it at any time with effect for the future by using the “Manage consent” button at the edge of the screen. In addition, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
